Charles "Chip" Pace is a naturally gifted artist. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, he was already showing signs of a colorful imagination and perceptive drawing skills at the early age of five. After graduating high school he was accepted at the Art Institute of Boston where he studied fine arts, illustration, and advertising.

He won the coveted, 'Copley Society Award for Illustration', after exhibiting in a juried art competition featuring the work of selected students from greater city colleges. Soon after graduating he was making his way as a freelance illustrator and painter. He joined the local art league and began exhibiting his paintings in city and state art shows. Several awards soon followed and led to solo exhibitions at established galleries and colleges.

Looking for change and new inspiration, Pace soon found himself on the west coast at the invitation of a major art retailer to design and paint original pieces of art. Continuing his career as an artist, he soon became involved in advertising, where he worked as an art director and designer, using graphics, photography, and illustration. This was an area Pace recalls as, "really being able to challenge myself creatively". He worked in this capacity for the next 25 years amassing a wealth of diversified skills and original works of art. You have probably seen his work on film but didn't know it. He has conceptualized production art for numerous clientele including 20th Century Fox where he worked on two feature animated films as a storyboard artist and production designer, and Walt Disney Imagineering designing new attractions for Disneyland in Japan, Europe, and the U.S. During the past 25 years he found the opportunity to collect, photograph, and archive an extensive reference library which he uses for inspiration. "This is a constant work in progress." Pace is now settled in Arizona where he paints daily in his studio. His original art has been seen worldwide and is in the collection of art aficionados from all walks of life, including celebrities.
